Egypt’s Sisi approves key tax relief laws

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has approved legislations related to the implementation of a key part of the first package of tax relief measures, including:

• Law No. 5 of 2025 on the settlement of the status of certain taxpayers and assessees.
• Law No. 6 of 2025 on certain tax incentives and facilitations for projects with an annual turnover not exceeding 20 million Egyptian pounds.
• Law No. 7 of 2025 amending certain provisions of the Unified Tax Procedures Law issued under Law No. 206 of 2020.
