Egypt, UAE reaffirm commitment to Ras El-Hekma project

Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held talks Tuesday with Modon Holding Chairman Jassem Mohammed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi on the Ras El-Hekma City project, a major development on the country’s northwestern coast.

The prime minister reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to delivering the project on schedule and signalled readiness to back measures that could accelerate its rollout. The prime minister described the initiative as a strategic priority, linking it to broader efforts to develop the Mediterranean corridor.

The project also underscores the growing economic partnership between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, with both sides seeking to expand cooperation across real estate, infrastructure, and investment sectors.

Al Zaabi briefed officials on the advancement of the project’s master plan, which includes high-end infrastructure aimed at positioning Ras El-Hekma as a premier destination on the Mediterranean.
