Egypt’s private sector closed Thursday for May Day

Egypt’s Minister of Manpower Mohamed Gobran declared that Thursday, May 1, 2025, will be a paid holiday for private sector workers under the Labour Law, in celebration of Labour Day, as per a Cabinet statement on Monday.
