Egypt’s SCZone signs $7m garment deal in W. Qantara

Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) signed a $7 million contract with Shaoxing BEIQI Textile Co., Ltd to establish a ready-made garment manufacturing facility in West Qantara Industrial Zone.

Spanning 16,000 square metres, the project is projected to produce over 10 million garments annually, with 90 per cent targeted for export, contributing to Egypt’s foreign exchange earnings, and 10 per cent for the domestic market.
