Egypt’s Stock Exchange (EGX) closed on a positive note on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 01.00 per cent, to 32677.87 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, nudged up by 00.19 per cent to 3385.48 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 increased by 00.33 per cent, to 9725.99 points.
The EGX100 index edged up by 00.52 per cent, to 13189.59 points.
The total market cap reached 2,309,742,340,350 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 1,412,543,999 Egyptian pounds, and 123,788,537 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Non-Arab Foreigners were buyers with 1,536,332,536 Egyptian pounds.
Risers of the day
- El Kahera El Watania Investment shares rose by 12.21 per cent, to close at the price of 26.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Alexandria Flour Mills shares climbed by 11.80 per cent, to trade at the price of 29.080 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Orascom Financial Holding shares jumped by 08.16 per cent, to the purchasing price of 00.557 Egyptian pounds a share.
Fallers of the day
- Arabian Cement Company shares fell by 05.10 per cent, to close at 32.190 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Sinai Cement shares declined by 04.45 per cent, to close at 38.250 Egyptian pounds a share.
- South Valley Cement shares dropped by 04.06 per cent, to close at the price of 05.430 Egyptian pounds a share.
