US outsourcing firm VXI to expand Egypt workforce to 5,000 by 2028

US-based outsourcing company VXI Global Solutions plans to boost its workforce in Egypt from over 1,000 to 5,000 by the end of 2028, with total investments expected to reach $135 million, Egypt’s communications ministry said in a statement Wednesday.

The announcement came during a visit by Communications and Information Technology Minister Amr Talaat to the company’s Cairo offices. VXI, which provides business process outsourcing (BPO) and customer experience services, entered the Egyptian market in March 2024.

Egypt offers a strong value proposition with its cost competitiveness, multilingual talent and strategic location serving Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said VXI Global Chief Operating Officer Ryan Collins. He added that the company was impressed by Egyptian professionals’ ability to deliver scalable, high-quality services from Cairo.
