The National Post Authority has decided to close its branches in Rafah and Sheikh Zowaid cities under the curfew which imposed by the President Adli Mansour.
Dr. Ashraf Gamal El-Din, the Chairman of Broad Directors of the National Post Authority, said the opening of offices in the mentioned areas depends on the protection of the Army Forces to the headquarters, pointing out that the Authority has not seen any breakthroughs or robberies within the past few days.
Gamal El-Din has emphasized to Amwal Al Ghad , that the offices did not affect by the clashes witnessed in several areas between the supporters and opponents of Dr. Mohamed Morsi.
Gamal El Din said the authority’s offices have finalized the exchange of all pension which nearly 3.5 million beneficiaries, stressing that the employees committed to not to be absent in order to exchange pensions under the high current state of insecurity.
Moreover, he asserted that the political crisis experienced by Egypt now and the resignation of Eng. Atef Helmy, Egypt’s Information and Communication Technology Minister will not affect the future of the new services which will be offered by the Authority, noting that the Minister is currently working naturally for while selecting new Minister therefore, the Authority will continue its negotiations concerning entering new services such as Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and Money Transfer Via Mobile Phone.
