Vodafone Egypt Suspends Work In 15 Branches Near Clashes Areas

The number of branches which affiliated to Vodafone Egypt are nearly 15 branches across the country.

Khalid Hijazi, head of government relations Vodafone Egypt, said the regions where clashes and demonstrations took place, Vodafone decided to close them, noting that Salah Salem and Heliopolis Presidential Palace on the top.

Hijazi added to Amwal Al Ghad that the branches did not expose for any violence against the current events, stressing that this phase is witnessing a state of anticipation on the background of the political events which Egypt is still suffering from.

It is worth mentioning that the company is owning 250 branches across governorates and it aims to increase 30 new branches within the fiscal year which ended in March 2014.
