Gold prices edge lower in global trade

Spot gold prices dropped on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 12:36 pm GMT by 0.14 per cent to $3,367.24 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,372.11.

Meanwhile, US gold futures fall 0.21 per cent to $3,411.22 per ounce, down from Friday’s closing price of $3,418.5.
