Egypt’s food exports rise 6% in H1 ’25

Egypt’s food industry exports rose to $3.4 billion in the first half of 2025, up 6 per cent from $3.2 billion in the same period in 2024, showing a positive trend towards reaching record annual levels, an official report said on Tuesday.

Over the past decade, Egypt’s food exports have more than doubled, rising from $2.7 billion in 2015 to $6.1 billion in 2024, highlighting the sector’s strong performance and growing international demand.
