Egypt wins 2 OAPEC scientific research awards

Egypt won two Scientific Research Awards for 2024 at the 115th Ministerial Meeting of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) held in Kuwait.

Dalia Radwan Abdel-Hafiz from the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute received the first award for her research on converting greenhouse gases into sustainable aviation fuel using ethanol.

The second award was presented to Mostafa Mohamed Arafa Morsi Ibrahim from the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM) for his research paper titled “Prospects for Integrating Renewable Energy Technologies.”
