Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone denies reports of military ship at Port Said
Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority (SCZONE) denied on Thursday media and social media claims that a vessel carrying military equipment docked at Port Said, one of its key ports, en route to a foreign destination.
In a statement, the authority called on outlets to verify information with official sources before publication. It warned that inaccurate reports or rumours could damage the reputation of the SCZONE, which is a flagship national project designed to attract investment, support industrial development, and expand logistics services as part of Egypt’s broader economic strategy.
