FinMin calls on South Korean firms to seize opportunities in Egypt
Egypt’s Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk on Friday called South Korean companies to expand and diversify their investments in the country, highlighting an improving business climate and stronger private sector participation.
The remarks came during a farewell meeting with South Korean Ambassador Kim Yong-hyon, who is concluding his tenure in Cairo. Kouchouk praised the ambassador’s efforts in strengthening economic ties between the two nations. “We appreciate your tangible efforts in enhancing cooperation between our countries,” he said.
Ambassador Kim expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s recent economic reforms and the finance minister’s initiatives supporting both local and foreign businesses. He said he would always value his time working in Egypt, noting that the country’s positive economic developments were encouraging greater private sector contributions.
