Egypt banks to close for 25 Jan Revolution, Police Day Holiday – CBE

Egypt’s Central Bank (CBE) announced on Tuesday that all banks operating in the country will suspend work on Thursday, 29 January 2026, on the occasion of the 25 January Revolution and Police Day.

According to the CBE statement, operations will resume on the morning of Sunday, 1 February 2026.
