NBE Says Blaze Did Not Affect Sphinx Branch

Hazem Hegazy, GM-Retail Banking Group Head at National Bank of Egypt (NBE), said the branch of sphinx square did not affect with the fire which occurred in the nearly shops of the bank.

Hegazy has asserted that his bank resumed again in the mostly branches  due to the clashes which happened by pro-Morsi supporters in many regions in Cairo and other governorates.

Hegazy has pointed out that the insecurity situation in North-Sinai led to the closure of Arish branch, noting that the resumption of their work depends on the back of stability back in the region.

It is worth mentioning that NBE closed around 10 branches from 338 in the beginning of the last week because of the clashes.
