Global energy leaders to gather in Cairo for EGYPES 2026 on 30 March
Egypt will host top global energy leaders, policymakers, and investors at the 9th edition of Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2026, set to take place in Cairo from 30 March to 1 April.
Held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the event will convene Heads of State, ministers, CEOs, and industry executives at a pivotal moment for the energy sector. The Presidential Opening Ceremony will see President Sisi joined by international counterparts, including President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus.
The show is expected to attract over 50,000 participants, including 2,200 conference delegates, 350 speakers, and more than 500 exhibiting companies across 13 international pavilions. It provides a platform for dialogue, investment, and collaboration aimed at advancing secure, sustainable, and affordable energy systems.
Egypt Energy Show 2026 will focus on practical pathways for energy transformation, highlighting oil, gas, renewables, advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation. The event will feature two main conferences – a Strategic Conference and a Technical Conference – with more than 100 sessions addressing energy security, sustainability, innovation, and market dynamics.
High-level ministers and industry leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and Cyprus are expected to participate. Global CEOs attending include executives from TotalEnergies, SLB, Baker Hughes, ADNOC Distribution, Energean, Fertiglobe, and many others.
The event will also spotlight innovation and future talent, with an Innovation & AI Hub, startup pitch competitions, and a Young Professionals Programme engaging over 2,000 students and early-career professionals. The standalone Egypt Energy Show 2026 Energy Awards will recognise excellence in safety, digital transformation, renewables, and emerging practices.
Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawy said the show will strengthen regional and international energy partnerships, highlight investment opportunities, and empower the next generation of energy leaders.
