Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 1.48 per cent, to 52,861.47 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 0.81 per cent to 5,847.57 points.
- The index EGX35-LV rose by 1.24 per cent to 5,872.01 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, jumped by 1.29 per cent to 14,584.55 points.
- The EGX100 index advanced by 1.25 per cent to 20,388.16 points.
The total market cap reached 3,762,016,229,397 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 156,333,041 Egyptian pounds and 77,210,654 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 233,543,695 pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
- The shares of Raya Holding For Financial Investments surged by 7.59 per cent, closing at 7.650 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Bonyan for Development and Trade rose by 6.82 per cent, reaching 5.170 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of B Investments Holding went up by 6.37 per cent to close at 44.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- The shares of The Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda went down by 5.38 per cent to close at 3.690 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment dropped by 4.24 per cent to close at 1.580 per cent a share.
- The shares of Arab Cotton Ginning sank by 3.40 per cent, to close at 9.650 Egyptian pounds a share.
