Egypt’s central bank announces 23 July bank holiday

Egypt’s central bank said on Thursday that all banks operating in the country will be closed on Thursday, 23 July, to mark the anniversary of the 23 July Revolution.

Banking operations will resume on Sunday, 26 July, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said in a statement.
