The Egyptian pound was little changed against the US dollar during midday trading on Tuesday, extending its recent period of stability across Egypt’s major banks.
The U.S. dollar traded at an average of EGP 50.54 for buying and EGP 50.64 for selling across five leading banks as of 13:03 local time (10:03 GMT), according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.
| Bank | Buy (EGP/USD) | Sell (EGP/USD) |

| QNB Alahli | 50.5000 | 50.6000 |
| Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) | 50.6900 | 50.7900 |
The Egyptian pound has continued to trade within a relatively narrow range against the U.S. dollar in recent weeks, supported by stronger foreign currency inflows, improving investor confidence, and easing pressure in the domestic foreign exchange market. The currency’s relative stability has helped contain exchange rate volatility despite ongoing uncertainty across global currency markets.
