Egypt suspends Sunday remote-work system
Egypt’s Cabinet approved a draft decision to suspend the Sunday remote-work system. The system was introduced under Prime Minister’s Decision No. 982 of 2026 and applies to employees at the entities and institutions covered by the decision.
The decision was approved during the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday.
