Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Hazem el-Beblawi issued a ministerial decree on Wednesday to dismiss Fouad El-Khabati from his post as the Chairman of the Egyptian Customs Authority, an official source the country’s Finance Ministry told Amwal Al Ghad.
Dr. Beblawi had abolished the ministerial decree No. 402/2013 as regards to assigning El-Khabati as the Chairman of the Egyptian Customs Authority for one year, the source added.
The source further noted that El-Khabati had been assigned to chair the Customs Authority affairs until holding a competition to elect the new chairman of the authority.
It is worth mentioning that El-Khabati had hold office by the end of last April, in place of the Acting Chairman of Egyptian Customs Authority Mohamed El-Salhawy who was assigned following the removal of the former director Ahmed Farag Saudi.
