Intel Egypt, 3 Local Manufacturers Eye Designing New Education Tablets

Intel Corporation Egypt eyes producing new series of educational  tablet devices .

Business Development Manager Sameh El Mallah said Intel is aiming boosting its IT products portfolio  in cooperation with Arab Organization for Industrialization(AOI), Al Kharafi and Banha Company for Electronic Industries.

Egypt announced for mew strategy for domestic manufacture at the end of 2013 and it targets reaching EGP9 billion local investments and EGP70 billion expected revenues.

In a statements to Amwal Al Ghad,  El Mallah noted that Intel seeks cooperating with all the domestic manufacturers in addition entering tenders for producing the products locally and according to the market’s needs.

In 2012, Egypt offered a bid for manufacturing ‘tablet’ so as to use it for the domestic Purposes  and ‘Einar’ Egyptian tablet  has produced in the market for the first in March 2013.
