Egypt’s Kapci Coatings has topped the list of coatings and water base inks exporting companies in Egypt in the 11-month period through 2014. This comes in the light of capturing 60% of Egypt’s total coating and water base ink exports, recording 218.9 million Egyptian pounds by end of November 2014.
Kapci Coatings was established in 1985 as a private company only devoted for the production of car refinishes till 1999.
According to the Egyptian Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council (CEC), the country’s coating exports, during the period from January-November 2014, have surged by 5% to around 414.6 million pounds, from 393.5 million pounds for the same period a year earlier.
The CEC’s report also showed that the list of biggest recipients of Egyptian coating exports includes Saudi Arabia (73.3 million pounds), Libya (49.5 million pounds), Nigeria (35.82 million pounds), and Sudan (22.1 million pounds).
