Egyptian-German Intra Trade worth $4.4bln – Minister

The intra trade volume between Egypt and Germany is estimated at €4 billion (US$ 4.4 billion) annually, Monir Fakhry Abd El Nour – Egyptian Trade Minister told reporters on Monday.

The minister asserted on the importance of increasing the mutual investments to suit the tight bilateral relations as well as to the strong German economy.

Moreover, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi heads to Germany on Tuesday for a two-day visit to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German president Joachim Gauck.
