The National Bank of Egypt’s (NBE) assets portfolio hit 520 billion Egyptian pounds (US$66.4 billion) at the end of June 2015, registering 14% increase, board member Hussein El Refaay said Saturday.
He added that NBE’s deposits have been increased by 54 billion pounds to reach 448 billion pounds, making 14 percent increase.
Board member El Refaay stated that the total volume of NBE’s loans rose 25 percent, with an increase in net facilities worth 31 billion pounds in 2014.
