Bahrain’s investment in Egypt tops $955 million

Bahrain’s overall investments in Egypt topped $955 million by the end of August this year, according to a report.

A total of 173 Bahraini companies are now investing in Egypt, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication citing a recent report released by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.

Financial investment projects carried out through 16 companies make up a major bulk of $475 million, followed by industrial investments which topped $233 million with 36 companies, it added.
