Misr Insurance wins Banque du Caire medical insurance policy bid

The leading insurer in MENA region, Misr Insurance Company has won a medical insurance policy bid launched by Egypt’s third biggest state-run bank Banque Du Caire.

The policy is a one-year renewable term, tailored for around 18,000 employees working in Banque Du Caire, Misr Insurance board member, Mosaad Refaat told Amwal Al Ghad by phone Sunday. It is a total sum insured up to 18 million Egyptian pounds (US$2.3 million)

Refaat further said the policy involves an insurance coverage of all the medical risks arising out of surgeries, endoscopes, in addition to the medical bills, outpatient clinics, medicines, dental treatments, and chronic diseases.
