Egypt’s Edita posts profits of $39.3mn in 2015

Egyptian food maker, Edita has posted net profit of 349.1 million Egyptian pounds (US$39.3million) with an increase of 31.3 percent during 2015 according to the company financial results.

In addition, the company registered revenues of 2.22 billion Egyptian pounds with an annual growth rate of 16 %.

The results showed also that Edita revenues have been increased by 13.7 percent during 2015 fourth quarter to recorded 646.2 million Egyptian pounds.

During the 4Q, Edita’s net profit has increased by 32.7 percent to register 136.9 million Egyptian pounds.

Edita also announced that the company’s production capacity has increased by 35.3 percent during 2015 to mark 136.8 thousand tonnes annually.
