Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) is set to launch large promotional campaign for Egyptian tourism in Germany next September, Chairperson Sami Mahmoud told Amwal Al Ghad Sunday.
The chairman emphasised on the importance of the German market as around 43,000 German tourists visited Egypt during July 2016, spending 326,000 nights.
German charter airlines are set to operate 101 flights next winter to Egypt; 76 flights to Hurghada, four flights to Luxor, three flights to Sharm El-Sheikh, in addition to 18 flights to Marsa Alam.
Moreover, Mahmoud added that the campaign would be aired on different German media that target tourists who seek suitable touristic places to visit during winter.
