Egyptian airline EgyptAir operates 22 flights to Saudi Arabia on Monday to transport 4,567 pilgrims to Jeddah and Medina for Hajj pilgrimage.
Chairman Sherif Ezzat stated that EgyptAir is set to operate 14 flights to Jeddah and 8 flights to Medina from Cairo International Airport.
Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, and a mandatory religious duty for Muslims.
