Egypt’s Export Development Bank has appointed Mervat Zuhdi El Sayed Sultan as its new chairperson, the bank announced in a bourse filling on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the bank has approved to finance a capital hike plan to 1.728 billion Egyptian pounds ($97.7 million) from retained earnings and reserves.
Total assets stood at 26.4 billion pounds by the end of June; while portfolio of loans reached 9.5 billion pounds.
