Cairo Chamber, KEDA ink protocol to boost South Korea-Egypt trade exchange

Cairo Chamber of Commerce signed Sunday a cooperation protocol with the Korean-Egyptian Development Association (KEDA) aimed at boosting joint trade exchange.

The protocol will enable Cairo Chamber and KEDA to provide all assistance trade delegations from Egypt and South Korea would need through showcasing mutual investment and trade opportunities.

It will also help provide Korean and Egyptian businessmen with all information about the two markets and available investment opportunities, said vice chairman of Cairo Chamber, Tarek El Sallab.

According to the protocol, Cairo Chamber and KEDA are seeking to remove all obstacles that may face the investors from both countries and to develop joint small and medium-sized projects, El Sallab added.

The protocol was signed during the visit of a mission from South Korea to the chamber to discuss means of deepening bilateral ties and increasing Korean investments in the North African country.
