The European Investment Bank (EIB) has agreed to provide technical assistance for a feasibility study on East Port Said Logistics centre project, said chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority (SCZone) on Thursday.
The EIB assistance will cover all the technical, environmental, social, economic, financial, institutional, and marketing aspects of the feasibility study, Ahmed Darwish further said.
The project includes a network of logistics platforms in the Mediterranean Sea region to offer storage terminal services, cargo consolidation, and loading and discharging of containers besides other value-added services such as repacking, bar-coding, container leasing, and trucks, Darwish added.
