Egypt’s Holding Company for Construction and Development (HCCD) had imported a giant bundle of new equipment during the last two years, a source told Amwal Al Ghad on Monday.
The source further said the equipment was imported a cost worth 1.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($73.7 million) and they were in favour of its subsidiaries, the source further said.
This equipment is mostly designed to execute a number of road projects and other mega housing works, he added.
In 2015, the source stated that HCCD has imported the first shipment of 300 million pounds.
