Export Development Bank of Egypt profits rise 66% in Q1-FY2017/18

Profits of Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) rose by 66 percent during the first quarter of financial year 2017/2018, announced financial statements on Monday.

The bank made profits worth 199.5 million pounds ($266.2 million) during the three months ended in September 2017 up from 120.4 million pounds during the same period in 2016.

Interest income jumped to 1.01 billion pounds, compared with 618.8 million pounds last year.
