Egypt’s 4 consumer services sectors seize 40% of natural gas production: EGAS

Egypt’s four consumer services sectors captured nearly 40 percent of the county’s natural gas production, exceeding 5 billion cubic metres daily, Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company’s (EGAS) chairman said Saturday.

These four sectors are industry, petroleum, automotive supply, and gas delivery to homes, Osama El Bakly further told Amwal Al Ghad.

“Industry is the most prominent of these sectors as it focuses intensively on natural gas to complete the operations of the state’s ongoing major industrial projects,” he referred.
