Egypt’s Suez Canal revenues rose 6.4 percent month-on-month, increasing by $28.1 million in March, as shown by official data on Tuesday.
The canal revenue reached $463.9 million by the end of last month, compared with $435.8 million in February.
The chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Mohab Mamish told reporters that proceeds surged 12.9 percent in the first quarter of 2018 to $1.351 billion, up from $1.196 billion for the same period last year.
