Egypt disburses EU loan for new sanitation stations in Fayoum

Egypt has disbursed an EU loan of 9.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($529.1 million) to implement new sanitation stations in Fayoum governorate, 130 km (81 miles) southwest of Cairo.

Between about four to six years, Fayoum will witness a big breakthrough in the sanitation sector, its governor Essam Saad Ibrahim said on Wednesday in a telephone interview with local Al-Hayat TV channel.
