Russian firm to organise key industrial fair in Cairo next year – minister

A Russian firm will organise the Global Industrial and Technology Exhibition and Forum (Arabia 2019) in Cairo on October 10-13 next year, said Egyptian Minister of Industry on Tuesday.

Arabia 2019, the biggest industrial exhibition, will be organised by a Russian firm under the auspices of Egyptian Industry and Trade Ministry, Minister Amr Nassar said.

“100 major global firms from Russia, Germany, South Korea, China, and Japan will participate in the exhibition,” Nassar said.

The principal themes of Arabia 2019 are engineering, industrial components, power engineering technologies, transport mechanical engineering, production automation, machinery and equipment, and digital manufacturing.

Nassar made his remarks during a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation Denis Manturov in Moscow, where they held talks over the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Eurasian Customs Union (EACU).
