UAE Interact Website Offers Free Access To News Archive

UAE Interact, which is supported and overseen by the National Media Council (), announced that it now offers free access its online news archive for visitors seeking information on the UAE.

To get required information on its website at www.uaeinteract.com/news/archive.asp, a visitor only needs to enter a topic, or specify a date, or list a person or company, or designate an event ? then click ?search? and within seconds a list of articles published over the past 15 years or so will appear on screen.

Alternatively, visitors can select a subject category such as ?Sport?, ?Finance? or ?Visas? and you will be immediately taken to a list of stories within that category that have been published during the last decade and a half.

The NMC-supported website, in operation since 1995, is proving to be an invaluable resource for people from all walks of life, throughout the world, who seek information on and about the UAE in over 300 free-to-access categories that between them store over 50,000 stories.

UAE Interact (www.uaeinteract.com) presently attracts over 2 million users per annum and has just launched a new version of its news archive making it easier than ever to research almost any topic related to the United Arab Emirates. A spokesperson from the National Media Council stated: “Many of our readers check out the site daily to keep abreast of news but are unaware of the incredible research tool that UAE Interact has become. We find however that virtually all the major companies and organisations in the Emirates are using the website to check up on information relevant to their field of interest”.
