Sisi orders officials to implement administrative reform plan in Egypt
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has directed the government to start the state administrative reform plan based on a comprehensive vision that includes utilising distinguished cadres, the Egyptian Presidency said.
During a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Planning Hala El-Saeed, the president reviewed developments in implementing the comprehensive plan to reform the state’s administrative bodies, presidency spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The president said that moving the government to the New Administrative Capital is a breakthrough for the future of modern government performance.
He also called for implementing the administrative reform plan to be based on providing comprehensive incentives to distinguished human cadres.
The president also called for giving priority to administrative reforms at state agencies to improve the government performance and services offered to citizens as well as making use of modern technology in terms of expanding e-government services to contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development.
Minister Saeed said preparations are underway to move some government employees to the new administrative capital.
