Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), said the volume of the foreign investments that existed in the market during the fiscal year 2011-2012 reached $ 4 billion, compared to $ 3.1 billion last fiscal year.
In a statement issued by the CBE, it was elaborated that the sales of the foreign investments in the state’s securities portfolio amounted to $ 5 billion during the fiscal year 2011-2012, compared to $ 2.6 billion sales last fiscal year.
The CBE stated that the foreign trading in the stock market reached $ 1.1 billion net sales, compared to $ 316.7 million during 2010-2011.
