Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Egypt joined forces recently with the International Youth Foundation to mark International Youth Week, a celebration and acknowledgement of the contributions, achievements and talents of today’s youth. Team members across Egypt organised a wide range of activity designed to build strong relations between local youth from all walks of life and their communities.

Hilton Cairo World Trade Center participated in the Ain Shams University Job Fair. Over 100 young people were introduced to the company and learned more about a wide range of full and part time job opportunities available at the hotel. .
Hilton Pyramids Golf Resort launched a partnership with Resala Charity Organization to provide their youth with vocational training programmes. Resala’s sector is responsible for providing shelter and stability to youth is called Ad El Haya or (Children Capable of Living). A three-month programme has now been launched for three candidates from Ad El Haya.
Hilton Taba Resort Nelson Village staff celebrated with guests by organising fun competitions between the young guests at the property during the whole week. Events included volleyball and talent shows for singing and dancing.
Ramses Hilton held different activities throughout the week, including a Family Day party held at the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in Cairo. For nearly four years, Ramses Hilton has had long-term partnerships with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357. Throughout the year, hotel management and staff members support children with creative activities and fundraisers as well as in a range of sponsorship opportunities. A job shadowing programme was also arranged giving undergraduates a trainee course in the hotel’s food and beverage department. . In addition, the property recently hosted an art exhibition for talented children at the hotel for guests and visitors to enjoy up to 50 exhibited drawings and handicrafts made by local children.
Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa team members took part in a day full of activities at the Coptic Orphanage House including card and dart games with lots of competitions. The activities also included job shadowing, as renowned Executive Chef Shankar showed the children at the orphanage how to make desserts which were then served to the group.
Hilton Hurghada Resort team members hosted a variety of events and programs for 38 orphans or children of single parents between the ages of 7- 16 years. the children took part in different activities from sports games to baking with the pastry chefs.
Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort celebrated international youth week by joining forces with their local youth partners from Red Sea Rangers – Red Sea Protectorates in the annual Marsa Alam Environmental Day. The event was hosted by hotel team members in the main port area of Marsa Alam where children and young people were able to create environmental games with natural materials. The hotel also offered an internship for an undergraduate student from Cairo University, offering training in the Front Desk department.
