EGX ups EGP 4.6 Billion in Mid-Trading

During the mid-day trading session, EGX has managed to gain EGP 4.6 billion, thus the capital market has recorded EGP 406.087 billion.

The main index, EGX30 rose by 1.41% to end at 5903.57p.  EGX20 upped by 1.47% to close at 6934.64 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap, EGX70 rose by 1.04% to conclude at 573.29pts.  Price index EGX100 also went up by 1% to finish at 940.89 p.

Traded volume reached 284.302 million securities worth EGP 831.645 billion, exchanged 36.207 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 178 listed securities; 126 advanced, 40 declined while 12 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians were net buyers seizing 81.98% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 55.361 million excluding the deals.

On the other hand, non-Arab Foreigners tend to profit-taking transactions as they were net sellers seizing 10.83% with a net equity of EGP 42.267 million, as well Arabs were net sellers seizing 7.19% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 13.094 million.
