Administrative Development to Cooperate with Vodafone, Etisalat

The Ministry of State for  Administrative Development intends to launch electronic government services in cooperation with Vodafone and Etisalat for receiving the citizens’ demands via its short codes.

Dr. Ahmed Samir, Deputy Minister of Administrative Development mentioned in exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad that the postponing the cooperation between the two companies is due to the delay in announcing the Minister of Development in the previous period.

He pointed out that the partnership established with Mobinil for obtaining services via the company’s short codes is successfully going on. He added that the small number of applications can sometimes be attributed to  the desire of other governmental bodies that do not complete the required procedures related to the increasing number of employees or the amendments of its current systems.
