Nile Family Takaful unveils received premiums’ growth to EGP 23.3 million

Nile Takaful held the annual ceremony to honor the employees who contribute in achieving the company’s success as it has managed to increase the received premiums by 334% to EGP 23.3 million compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

During the ceremony, Nile Takaful has announced that it aims at boosting total premiums to EGP 120 million in the current fiscal year.

Adam bin Manaf, manager director of “Nile Family Takaful”, said “The Company’s ceremony that celebrates the honoring of the success partners was recognition to the employees’ efforts during the fiscal year ended in last June and also for celebrating the company’s success”

He added that the company has decided to support its capital base by EGP 22 million this year and cooperate with three banks and two investment corporations as well as raising the received premiums by 100% in the current year.

Manaf unveiled that Nile Family Takaful has signed number of contracts for Takaful group insurance with some institutions included Tourist Guides Syndicate               that employs over 1000 people with coverage insurance up to EGP 50 million and Egyptian Cabin Crew Syndicate with coverage insurance up to EGP 250 million on 1500 employee.

Manaf has confirmed that the company’s accomplishments during the recent period came as a result of the employees’ big efforts especially the marketing and sales department, which includes skillful and long-experienced employees who always develop their skills and be aware of the new developments through the persistent training. These efforts aim at meeting various needs of the company’s current clients as well as attracting the targeted clients by providing innovative products that fit all needs and in consistent with Islamic Shariah.

Regarding to Nile Takaful expansion operations, Manaf noted that the company plans to open three new branches during the current fiscal year 2012/2013 in Al-Mohandseen, Hurghada, Assuit besides the existing branches in Nasr City, Maadi,

Misr elGadida, Alexandria, and Tanta in order to fulfill future requirements of the clients and achieves further spread in most of Egypt’s governorates.

Nile Takaful also hasn’t ignored its role in sustaining and developing the Egyptian community through social responsibility programs that aims at supporting different poor valleys and regions in cooperation with Non Profit Organizations.
