The Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers was established in September 1964, to promote cooperation among insurance and reinsurance companies in Africa and Asia, through the regular exchange of information, expertise and the development of business relations.

Organising such major events in fact contributes to develop the Egypt’s insurance industry through alluring more investors to pump new investments into the country, Kotb noted.

FAIR 23rd Conference was held in Beijing, China on 16-20 September 2013, witnessing a presence of around 325 insurance and reinsurance figures from 52 African, Asian and European countries.
