Al-Quds Hospital evacuation attempt fails due to ‘continuing shelling’

The Palestine Society has stated on social media that the “continuing shelling and shooting” has forced failure in an attempt to reach Al-Quds Hospital from Khan Younis to evacuate patients.

A translation of their post on social media reads:

Urgent: the evacuation convoy of the Red Crescent, accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross, returned to its tracks after setting off today from Khan Yunis towards Al-Quds Hospital.

The convoy was forced to return due to the dangerous conditions in Tel al-Hawa area, where the hospital is located, in light of the continuing shelling and shooting. the medical staff, patients, and their escorts are still trapped inside the hospital without food, water or electricity.
