Alex Cont. Poses Tender for Medical Insurance for Workers, Families

Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company raised a tender among the insurance companies in the Egyptian market so as to choose one of them to issue medical insurance policy for its employees as well as their families.

Informed sources pointed out that the tender divided the workers and their families into 3 levels: the insurance amount of the first level is up to EGP 100 thousand, the second worth EGP 50 thousand pounds, and the third at value of EGP 30 thousand.

The source, in exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad, added that the total number of the insured reached 3900, whereas the number of employees is 900 people and number of their families is about 3,000.

The policy shall provide medical care for workers. It also covers the treatment of critical diseases, teeth and surgeries inside the outpatient clinics as well as conducting medical examinations and tests. In addition to treating chronic diseases as well as  dispensing of medicines through pharmacies.
