AOI cooperates with German firms to build recycle vehicle tyres factory

The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed on Tuesday a MoU with German INTEC Rubber Powder GmbH and RECOM Patent & License GmbH, to establish a factory for recycling vehicle tires.

Egypt’s Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad has witnessed the signing ceremony, in the presence of the President of AOI Mokhtar Abdel Latif, during the first edition of the Environmental and Climate Investment Forum in Egypt.

This industrial project would help Egypt to become a regional centre for recycling tyres and vehicles of all kinds according to international quality specifications, Abdel Latif mentioned.

Abdel Latif further explained that this cooperation comes within the framework of the AOI’s efforts to strengthen the partnership and open new horizons of joint investments, in the light of Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development 2030.
